The psychological impact may make some family members to go into depression. Additionally, family members will spend a lot of finance in treating the sick family member. In some situations, the family can sell some of their valuable assets or take loans to treat the condition. The ultimate impact is the degradation of the family economy resulting in poverty. When several people in the society suffer from CHF, the society shall lose its workforce members because of the disease burden. This translates into a stagnant economic growth of the society and reduced food production, which can result into malnutrition in the society.
